Parking Tickets

This past semester my friend was supposed to do a statistics project where she asked a sample of students at UF how many parking tickets they have received at UF. I decided to make my own poll to see the average number of tickets people have received and this included city parking right by Norman Hall. I feel like everyone that has been at UF for 4 years has gotten their car towed once and has also received a parking ticket.

Please respond to the poll!!! Thank you!

Digital Photography... or just photography

A person in my online graduate class has a blog on digital photography. Here is a link her to blog http://digitalphotobeginner.blogspot.com/ . I love reading her blog because it reminds me of my high school days when I was into photography. I did AP Studio Art and focused my whole theme on photography. I loved going in a dark room and editing all of my pictures. It's sad that everything is digital today because the dark room allows you to do so many cool things. I am contradicting myself because I also love using my digital camera and editing the pictures on Adobe Photoshop. I just wish there was a way for me to have both in my life!!

Here is some pictures and artwork that I have done!

Studying Abroad.. Traveling Abroad

Many of my friends this summer are studying abroad in places all over the world. I am so jealous and excited for them because I did this last summer. I studied abroad in Roma, Italia for a month and a half and it was the best experience of my life. I am Italian so it made the experience even greater! I took classes in Italian and practiced my Italian speaking skills every day. I made some great friends abroad f rom the Internet Cafe owner who offered me a job to the guy that worked at the hotel front desk who knew some of my familiy... it was an amazing experience.

If you ever have the change to study abroad or travel abroad... GO!!! I learned how selfish us Americans can be and how our lives are so rushed. In Rome, I would talk to some person in Italian and they would talk to be for about an hour even thought they had to be at work. I have never met people that were so kind and wanted me to be happy and enjoy their gelato or meals. Their culture is all about relaxing and living life.

Has anyone ever studied abroad of traveled abroad and feel the same way?

Here is a picture of the family that owned the Internet cafe in Rome!
